Irem Cakmak LL.M.

Profile

Irem holds an LL.M. degree in Public International Law from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s in Law from Bilkent University. They have experience in journalism from their role as a Middle East Researcher at Global Human Rights Defence, where they authored news articles and conducted interviews on human rights issues. As Vice President of Marketing for the European Law Students' Association Ankara, Irem improved their public relations, and digital marketing skills, and developed content and campaigns to engage diverse audiences. They are passionate about human rights, public international law, and using digital storytelling to make complex legal topics accessible.
