Profile

Ewa Romanowska is the Acting Academic Coordinator of the Netherlands Network for Human Rights Research (NNHRR). Prior to her current role, Ewa was an intern for the NNHRR and for the project on Enabling Civil Society Efforts to Address the Misuse, Diversion and Abuse of Arms Exports in Latin America,

Ewa is currently pursuing an LLM in European Law at Leiden University. Alongside her studies, she is a mentee in the Young Women in Non-Proliferation and Disarmament mentorship program, organized by the Vienna Centre for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) and the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium (EUNPDC), where she is researching the topic of dual-use items and human rights. She holds an LLB (cum laude) in International and European Law from The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Ewa has also participated in the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition and the European Law Moot Court Competition.

Ewa's primary areas of interest include EU Law and human rights law.
