Summer Law Program
International Criminal Law and International Legal Approaches to Terrorism
From 2 - 25 June 2014 the T.M.C. Asser Instituut organises, in collaboration with the War Crimes Research Office of American University's Washington College of Law, the Summer Law Programme on "International Criminal Law & International Legal Approaches to Terrorism" in The Hague.
This summer programme offers participants an opportunity to study some of today’s most important legal issues in the heart of the international justice community. The programme includes visits to 6 major courts and legal organisations located in The Hague.
The programme is designed for 40 students from top US law schools who will travel to The Hague, the City of Peace and Justice, to follow this quality programme and visit courts and tribunals that are making legal history as we speak.
An additional 10 places are available on this programme for interested students/young professionals from across the globe interested in pursuing careers in counter-terrorism and related fields of work!

Ø Study in the heart of the legal capital, The Hague, at walking distance from the peace palace library with one of the largest collections in the field of International Law, Public and Private Law and Foreign National Law;
