Prof. Inge Govaere
Inge Govaere is Professor of European Law at Ghent University and Director of the European Legal Studies Department at the College of Europe, Bruges. Her research interests lie at intellectual property and competition and trade law of the EU. She completed her PhD at the EUI in 1994. She was a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at Cornell University, N.Y. in 1998. She is visiting professor in many universities in the EU and abroad and also gives guest lectures and conferences at different institutions. Some of her works are “Trade and Competition Law in the EU and Beyond” (Edward Elgar Publishing) and “The Use and Abuse of Intellectual Property Rights in EC Law” (Sweet & Maxvell). She also has many articles in law journals as well as contributions to edited books.
