Profile
Flora is a graduate, cum laude, from the University of Amsterdam with an LL.M in Public International Law. Her thesis, titled ‘Algorithms of War,’ focused on the military use of AI Decision-Support Systems. She also worked at the Amsterdam Law Clinics, where she brought claims against financial institutions for non-compliance with environmental standards. Prior to her master’s, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at City, University of London. She completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University in History and International Development. She has multiple articles published on the topic of climate displacement. Her main area of interest is international humanitarian law, specifically the military use of AI.
